Type in 3rdbn5th at the login screen.Welcome to the Web site for India Company. This is a start up effort and we'll be adding material as we acquire it. The main intent is to help us to find each other and, once found, to stay in touch. That and remembering some of the most important times of our lives, remembering and honoring our fallen friends, is all that really counts. What you'll find here to start with is a roster of India Company folks and their email addresses. Click on any underlined link to jump to that section. We'll be adding biographies of our members as they are provided. We also have a Database of names, including those already on the roster page but also many more of people who are not online. You will also find a number of pictures from our contributors. Formal boot camp pictures, folks then and now, many pictures of people and places in Vietnam. We will always be looking for more so if you have some that you think will tell a story, please submit them for consideration. In the remembrance section you will find the citations for Richard Pittman's Medal of Honor and the four Navy Cross citations for members of India Company. You will find portions of newsletters from 1996, published prior to the DC reunion. Stories include John Olsen's memory of the five days of Operation Hastings and Lt. Williams' letter to his wife, recalling that operation. For reunion information held over the past 9 years (2000-2008) at Lagrange, Georgia, including pictures, please visit www.usmcvietvet.org. 2008 was the last year for the reunion at this location. With many thanks to Curtis and Brenda Eidson for doing such a fine job these past years. We hope to continue the tradition at another location. Finally, please visit our Wall, where we honor our fallen friends. There are many more to find and it will be an ongoing process but we are determined that all of our company's fallen will be here, where they belong. Semper Fi Marines! As stated previously, we will be adding material to this page, stories, memorials, more pictures and we're always looking for new members. Should you have something you'd like to submit, or would like to be included on the roster, please contact the new ncoic of this effort, Jerry Bain. (With many thanks to Curtis Eidson for the past two plus years of his guidance...he's devoting all his time to our reunion efforts). For web page feedback please contact the webmaster.
