Headquarters and Service (H&S) Company is an orphan in the hierarchy of a battalion. A lot of different types of personnel at many different locations was the norm during my time in 'nam. Composed of admin personnel to help the Battalion CO, a Comm platoon, an 81mm mortar platoon and 106 recoilless rifle platoon among others, we were scattered all over the place. I was with a two squad mortar section composed of no more than fifteen Marines during my entire tour in '70. With people rotating in and out I was acquainted with maybe thirty folks during that time. I was tight with maybe seven of those guys. And lost touch. Now, I want to find them again, share a few memories and pictures, know that they're ok. And that's the reason for this page.
