LIFE MAGAZINE In 1969 Paul O'Connell received this issue of Life Magazine while in country. The cover of that magazine is the first picture shown here. The front page of the article of interest is the second picture.
In the article, pictures of people killed in country were featured. Three of them are reproduced below. They all served with or were attached to Mike Company. Calvin Cooper, on the left, was a combat engineer found in a bomb crater. Corpsman Chris Pyle lost his life saving other Marines. John Kirchner was a friend of Paul's and a good Marine.
